The payment protection racket, as it is being referred to by the Citizens Advice Bureau, has been big news over the past six years or so. Even though you are likely to find something being written about the whole controversy any day of the week in the newspapers, or you can turn on the television and watch the nightly news, you may not hear the actual latest news that would impact a PPI claim. Mostly we hear about how much money is being claimed and how much more money is still left to be paid out. Amidst all the horror stories there is very little of substance to help those of us who still have claims to file. The best way to find the latest payment protection news is to visit the websites of the Financial Services Authority, Financial Ombudsman Service, the Citizens Advice Bureau or a PPI claim company that deals with representing clients in filing PPI claims on their behalf.
